Who started the Counterculture?
An Interview with Ethan Persoff, comic book creator, digital archivist, and sound artist extraordinaire.
Greetings,
Here we are, standing on the precipice of the abyss of 2025. What are you doing for New Years? Before you go celebrating or commiserating the end of 2024, I wanna drop a quick quantum of fun on your spongy brain.
Firstly, I had the pleasure of sitting down and speaking with Ethan Persoff, an American Comic Book Creator, Archivist, and Sound Artist who is the co-author of the book John Wilcock: The New York Years, a visually stunning book about the co-founder of The Village Voice, John Wilcock.
Ethan also digitized the complete run of Paul Krassner's legendary magazine The Realist, creating one of the best archives on the web! As a sound artist he has released audible books in a format that's more fun and innovative than mere Audible. His series, The Recovery of Charlie Pickle is a great example of his unique brand of hilarious storytelling. All of his work can be found on his website, EP.TC

I’m pleased to announce that my book Chapel Perilous: The Life & Thought Crimes of Robert Anton Wilson is doing really well since I self-published it just over two months ago. I knew that I was taking a risk by self-publishing, however I was confident in two things, RAW’s fans and the story I tell about Wilson. I went deep in my research and spent years refining the flow of the work, and I’m very happy to hear from people who’ve enjoyed reading the book. Thank You to everyone who bought a copy and to those who haven’t yet, Don’t miss out! Get Your Copy Before the Illuminati makes mush of your brains.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
